After a long international career in technology, Xiana Pérez made a decision that surprised some and made perfect sense to anyone who knew her well: it was time to bring Galicia to the table — her table, and yours.
Food and wine have always been close to an obsession for her, not a hobby. That passion, combined with the organisational instincts sharpened over years of international work and a natural talent for making people feel immediately at home, became the foundation of Galician Food Experience.
Her credentials run deep. She has contributed to Culinary Backstreets, is a member of Culturviño — an association dedicated to supporting and promoting small local producers — and takes an active role in the Club do Produto de Galicia, an initiative that champions the tourism potential of local produce from the Baixo Miño. For Xiana, every experience is personal: a chance to introduce visitors to the Galicia she knows, trusts, and genuinely loves.
